The holiday of the words
Two looks that cross; a boy who says to have touched the sky at the bottom of the horizon; an old dog that speaks with the reader to honor its extraordinary proprietor; two very old old men that handymen do in a car of the meter; a child who asks for an extraordinary favor the thief who has just robbed its house; a child who comes to a stories maker so that he writes the end of the history of lack of affection of its parents; a man of medium-sized age that orders to fry gargles the most mellow stereotypes along with the mortuary bed of its mother; a precocious writer who at the age of eight discovers the magic of the literature; a suicide who in the last moment embraces to the life persuaded for the affectionate reasons of Maria Magdalen … tens and tens of personages as these they entrust to themselves to the author of this work for, in almost a hundred of histories (and microrrelatos), to reach its particular utopia: to turn into ART.
«What Robles gives us is the daily thing transformed into literature of the good one. Here there is no any disguise. It is the storyteller and the reality opposite to front what it delivers to us like one of these Dutch painters of the XVIIth century».
Araceli Cobos Reina
«In Salvador Robles Miras there happen these conditions that are promoted by lucidity at once of the literary creation. Its texts always leave a message that allows the analysis of the reader, which they force him to extract conclusions, which thrill it and motivate it, because simple and instructively, they interact across this "Holiday" in which the words transform in absolute protagonists».
Liliana Cristina García
«Salvador Robles is a virtuoso of the concision when he wants. Its microrrelatos are lofty and it even is capable of doing a wink to the teacher of the teachers (Augusto Monterroso) with its allusion to the dinosaur (The dinosaur of the scholar). But also it shows its virtues in the long distances with histories of impeccable invoice. It is wrapped quite day by day, he is an observant onlooker of the human nature and it is capable of including from what it happens in the tail of the super one (Twenty more cents) up to the passion of those that invoke the intersection of the Virgin in topics as banal as to reach the championship of soccer (Gift to the Virgin)».
