Luis Laforga dies. Valladolid has never been so beautiful as in its images in Rivers of Light

Luis Laforga dies. It painted the portrait of Valladolid in Rivers of Light with its best finery.

an uncultivated area stays
that wants the time to fill
with the stones of the tedium.

Today it is a sad day for Magazine Atticus. And very sad for me, like publisher and responsible for this beautiful project. I managed to contact with Luis Laforga and to present our magazine to him. He said to me that it was provided with him, who could have its photos. Some days later, owing to the publication of the reportage Rivers of Light (Valladolid has never seemed so beautiful) I coincided again with him and asked him for some photo of the opening of the Dome of the Millenium. Spend your mail to me, I said to him. It took a role while we were having a drink and gave me this singular card that I reproduce here. In a pee pas it had been painted the portrait along with its mail and its phone. An uncle who caricaturiza to himself is a person to be born in mind. Later they continued other collaborations, always attentive, kind, generous and loose and compromised with the culture. It always supported me and light and sheen met on its images to Magazine Atticus. Three months ago I delivered to him a copy of Magazine Atticus THREE. It was his, it is my part that I fulfill with the collaborators: to deliver to them a copy of the magazine in printed edition. A glance threw it and it thanked me. It would be missing more I answered him. Perhaps Fernando Urdiales (one of its last works, recently died) needed a photographer and for there that has gone away. Insurance that there where you go you speak about our magazine, but that, today, does not console me. He rests in peace, dear friend. Today Magazine Atticus has lost a little of sheen, a big friend Atticus has lost.
