Magazine Atticus – Number 11
You have before you a new number of Magazine Atticus. We are immersed in a certification whirlpool informative on the current situation. We cannot be foreign and live of backs to this situation. But we cannot must allow ourselves to go for this maelstrom. Here we keep on working without despondency. The news is not good to extract an edition in role in these moments but we continue with this illusion and soon we will recover the order. While that comes in this number we continue with the fronts that we had open seas. On the one hand a piece of news delivers and last of the sculpture in terracotta with the figure of The Roldana like axis vertebrador of the hand of José Miguel Travieso. On the other hand the one that he signs with the help of Esther Bengoechea is kissed by us to the hearing with an affectionate delivery on the kiss in the art history. An article about The House Farnsworth in particular and the figure Mies van der Rohe and its work in general allows us to do a brilliant experience to three bands. Two of the collaborators, Juan Diego Caballero and Carlos Zeballos, are two big teachers who direct two of the best blogs that we can be in the web in these moments; and the third person is the person in charge of the project of this magazine. We hope that it should come to fruition and we could be provided with its collaboration for future projects.
The musical paragraph goes out to scene. We had it a little godforsaken. Josep Maria Osma Bosch reveals to us the step of Chopin along Majorca. And from we are already provided with the collaboration of brilliant Manuel López Benito author of a page on the classical music: www.clasica2.com. Today it delights us with a more playful aspect: a kitchen recipe with a musical passage.
At the end of this June of 2010 a new exhibition will place, once again, Madrid in the circuit of the art.
This time is the Museum Thyssen-Bornemisza it is the one that celebrates a great exhibition on Ghirlandaio and the Renaissance in Florence.
We keep on being provided with brilliant photographers who thanks to its snapshots adorn our pages and reach port a little of color and, because not, also heat. Jesus González López, Rogelio García Alonso, Luis Raimundo García Fernández, Chema Concellón, Jesus Arenales, Pablo Díaz and Alice González.
In this occasion we do not propose a route to realize an excursion. We are more ambitious we propose how to carry out the company of realizing summit in one of the big mountains: the Aconcagua, of the hand of one of the best "mountaineers", Gonzalo dell Agnola. Also a history will offer us on the ascent to Mont Blanc. In the paragraph Histories we offer a selection of some of the works that have come to us from Enrique Arias Vega, Álvaro Acebes, Noelia Toribio García, Juan Carlos Nistal, Marina Caballero and Manolo Madrid (these last two already turned into habitual collaborators). The points on the ies Juan Torres López puts them in this occasion with its article, of big actuality, The immoral proposals of the IMF.
Also Arturo Pérez-Reverte "collaborates" with its particular vision of a story adapted to the new current linguistic situation. Caperucita and the macho wolf.
