The e-mail

Throughout the day we receive innumerable post office. Many of them are the typical cross-references of the famous chains. Some time ago, a lot of time already, the chains were realized in a handmade way. There was coming to you to house one on which inside it was containing a letter (most of the manuscript times) in which a peseta was beaten. You her had to forward ten friends and they were guaranteeing to you that if you were not cutting the chain money sacks would come to you to house. I keep on working. I did not become rich with that story. And today I can say, insurance, that the life has not changed to me after route e-mail had broken hundreds of "modern" chains.

I have very good friends who forward many post office to me. There are different the folders opened under the qualifications of Good photos or Useful or Characterless (these are those that contains a message nonsense but that has some curious photo, because otherwise they go straight to the wastebasket). Today I want to emphasize these post office that only contain a direction. In these days two good examples have come to me: Hoy quiero destacar esos correos que solo contienen una dirección.

 The clock of the world

 http://poodwaddle.com/worldclockes.htm

It is a curious clock that as they are spending the second it is changing to you the numbers of a series of values. For example the current population, to the number of births, or a little so necessary as to know the production of barrels of oil “in real-time”. Since that … a curiosity. Pues eso… una curiosidad.

The Sevillian church of San Luis of the French.

Virtual visit to the interior of San Luis of the French

This is a magnificent example of these conference of 360th of high resolution.

The church of San Luis of the French is in Seville. It constitutes a wonderful example of baroque architecture of the XVIIIth century. It was designed by the architect Leonardo de Figueroa and it constructed between 1699 and 1730.

The Jesuits came to Seville in 1554, constructed a church, a professed house and a novitiate. Of all these buildings only the church of the Announcement survives at present.

At the beginning of the XVIIth century, Lucia de Medina donated a few areas for a bigger new building and a new church that would be dedicated to San Luis. In 1609 the novitiate had already moved. In 1699 there began the construction of the church that ended in 1730 and was inaugurated in 1731 by the archbishop Luis de Salcedo and Ascona with the name of Church of San Luis of the French.

In 1767 a Real Order of Carlos III expelled from Spain the Jesuits who should have left the building. They returned in 1817, until the new expulsion of 1835 forced them to leave definitely the set.

Since then the ancient novitiate has had diverse uses, seminar, Franciscan convent, hospital of venerable priests, factory in the XIXth century and hospice until the sixties of the XXth century. The church remained closed and without cult many years.

In 1984 there began the restoration of the set that it would finish in 1990. At present the church belongs to the County council of Seville and in her no type of religious cult is realized, it is used fundamentally for concerts and theatrical representations.

The front is two bodies and it is decorated profusely, almost we might consider it to be a reredos, there is alternated the stone and the brick as building materials. It is flanked by two towers octogonales. The second body consists of 5 windows, the head office framed by columns salomónicas. More above the Shield of Spain crowned by three archangels.

The plant is of Greek cross. On her a splendid dome, one of the most monumental of Seville. In the bases of the columns the big virtues (chastity, obedience, prayer, humility and poverty).

At the last hour and as regards the conference in 360th there has come to me a direction that has no waste.

It is a virtual sight to Seville across these circular photos. There is an extensive list. Also there is a paragraph for the images, but these it has an annoying watermark.

I hope that you should like and should enjoy the visit. Skylight that many digital photo but they have not achieved yet that it goes with a good cane. And that alone is obtained …: walking along Seville! Y eso solo se consigue… ¡paseando por Sevilla!
